Good God, My Fish is a Cannibal?! (Pikachu, I Choose You!)

Okay, I only have half an hour and I would like to play Minecraft as well, so I'll try to write this quickly.  Nothing much happened this last week, though, so it should be short anyway.  Yesterday, I woke up to hear my little brother (he's 11) sobbing like the earth had just swallowed up our parents.  When I came out, I found out that his fish, the only remaining albino shark in a huge tank of clownfish-type-things and a bunch of other who-knows-what, had died the previous night.  This by itself was sad, but when I found out that my brother had discovered this fact by seeing his fish's tail protruding from the mouth of Buddy, my big black fish, I was horrified.  Later, when he went to feed them (not that Buddy needed any feeding o-o) he found his albino shark's decapitated little body floating in the corner of the tank.  GOD, THAT'S HORRIBLE!!!  I think we're both traumatized.  Mom tried to break it to him gently that his fish had probably gotten sick in the night, and, well, it's a fish-eat-fish world.  Buddy had seen him as prey.  Heck, I just think my fish is cannibalistic. T-T  On a lighter note, we're going to a barbeque at the house of some family friends.  My brother seems to have recovered and is hoping to bring his Nintendo and Pokémon cards there, as the daughter of the family is also a Pokémon fanatic.  (Not saying I'm not, though... >->) Other than that, though, nothing really happened.  I'll see you next week, hopefully with a treat (but only for those who comment!!).  For now, though, this is Gstar, signing out.

*drumroll* WEEEELCOME TO THE WORLD'S LONGEST BLOG!! (Or at Least Mine)

Hello everyone!!  I'm sorry I couldn't post yesterday.  In case anyone's wondering why I couldn't get on the computer long enough to write a decent post, it's because the only computers in the house are my dad's work stuff and my mom's laptop, so my mom has complete control over when or whether I can go on the computer.  Anyway, I suppose it's SO easy to see how ecstatic I am, right? (....) Well, that's because, today alone I got 28 views!!  And it's only 3 o'clock!!!  Thank you...vampirestat.com and another website I won't name because of my principles!  Anyway, I promised last week that I would tell you how the barbeque went, and I will.  Also, however, right after I got off the computer I received a call from an old friend asking me to come sandboarding with her at her birthday party on Friday.  So this might be a relatively long post.  :/  Not that that's a bad thing, but only the hardcore (if I have any?) fans will probably read it all the way.  Especially since I might include a list.  So, at the barbeque, I was the only girl, which I must admit, was a bit awkward... but I guess it was okay, since the boys there were my old classmates, and we're all very close.  The REALLY awkward part was my swimsuit, which is part bikini and part two-piece shirt and shorts.  I won't go any further...  It was worth it, though, for the pool.  It was colder than a freezer with no temperature gauge, but felt good after you got used to it, which took half an hour.  ...  We also played croquet, which I thought was kind of pathetic (ironic?) since the only people who played were the kids while the adults all sat in lawn chairs chatting and watching.  I lost every time, but what the heck...  The best part, though, had to have been the zipline/swing set up between two trees.  You had to push off the ending tree with your feet to avoid smashing your face on the bark, but that made it challenging, I guess.  Is it just me or is this getting boring?  I think I'll move on to Friday.  I ended up being the only one to show up -- or maybe the only one invited? -- at (I'll call her Red)'s house.  We ended up having to sit around for a while waiting for her dad to get up, but once he did, it was really fun.  The lady at the sandboard rental place showed us how to board, and I ended up being a lot better than I thought, managing to make it all the way to the bottom of the hill.  Red, on the other hand, kept falling...  Soon we gave up because it was EXTREMELY windy on the dunes, and sand was getting everywhere.  Toes, mouth, nose...  Ouch.  We spent a good while at an animal shelter with the cats.  Oh, the cats...

And I suppose you could say that was the majority of it, so I'll stop the misery and start talking like I'm not writing an essay on my summer vacation.  This coming Sunday the high school group at my church is going to be helping out at both services of the adult sanctuary church.  I'll be playing keyboard for the worship team.  *silent fist pump*  Speaking of instruments, I've recently gotten back into guitar.  Of course, I only know 6 chords, but there is a surprisingly large assortment of my favorite songs that only use those chords.  Hit the Lights, Buffering, You Belong With Me, Superman...  None of which you've likely heard, except You Belong With Me, a pretty popular song.  And while we're on the topic of songs... MY BRAND NEW HEADPHONES BROKE!!!  NOOOO!!  They're expensive Sony headphones, and I got them about a month ago, too short for them to be of much use, but too long to get a refund!  Just today I went to untangle them and plug them in, then, suddenly... nothing came out of the left earbud.  u.u  Fortunately, my dad's an engineer and he believes he may be able to fix it, although it will take a while.  Until then, I'm using my little brother's headset to listen to Youtube music while I write this; the headset is also Sony.  Let's hope it doesn't suck as much as the earbuds.  Well, until next week, this is G-star signing out to get some grapes.  Oh, and I'm very sorry this was so long.  I've had a busy week.  And no, there won't be a list this time.  That would be cruel.

A Simple Shim (And a Request Ramble).

Sorry, I can't post a full-sized blog today because I'm not allowed on the computer at the moment.  (Don't ask how I'm writing this.)  This is just a filler to tell you that I'm still writing, you just won't see any today.  I'll try to do my official blog tomorrow.  This is also a good opportunity to ask the readers something; as I've said before, high school is coming up.  I won't have as much free time to spend on the computer, and especially on Wednesdays if what I have planned works out.  (Thinking back, I probably shouldn't have scheduled these for Wednesdays, but the middle of the week just seemed right.  I might change it to Saturday later.)  I'll have clubs, electives, homework, and out-of-school volunteering work.  There's also the social life I plan to have.  I need a reason to keep writing...in other words, I need opinions!  I've been getting 2-6 views a day, which is pretty good, but no one's telling me what they think.  Please, if you like this blog and you want to see more, either comment, email me, or "rate" it below.  Thank you very much, and see you tomorrow!

Tada! The Post of Pointlessness... (And the Beginning of the Rambling)

Well, it's time to write a new blog.  Nothing explanation-worthy has really happened this week, though, so I'll just ramble.  My little brother's at church day camp starting today, so everything's nice and quiet... Unfortunately, my best friend is also helping out at a day camp this week, so I can't hang out with her.  Between computer and chores, I have pretty much nothing to do and no time to do it.  Fortunately, though, I have something to look forward to.  A classmate invited me to a barbeque tomorrow...really?  It's Wednesday already?  I just realized how quickly this week is shooting by.  Anyway, he gave me the address over the phone.  The problem, however, is that when I talk to people over the phone, I have a hard time understanding what they're saying and usually have to ask them to repeat themselves.  But since I think of that kind of thing as rude, I don't.  So I have the wrong address and not enough will to call back and ask again. -_-"  My family is going to have a garage sale; at least, that's what my mom decided.  So I need to go raid my room for things to sell.  That's why I'm stalling by writing things I don't need to.  I know this is going to look longer on the website, but where I'm typing it, it looks too short to me.  Oh well.  I'm done.  See you next week, or I may post Friday to talk about the BBQ.

The Reasons Behind My Rambling.

Hello, and a pleasure to meet you.  I'm G-star, as you've probably already figured out, but I felt that should be explained.  Of course, most of my friends know me more simply as Sara G, Gara, or just Sara.  But I enjoy nicknames, so call me G-star.  I used to, and might still, have another, cooler-looking blog that no one can get to but me.  You could call it an online diary, lock and all.  Of course, since you can't exactly read it, and I've been wanting to write a public blog, I wasn't positive where to go from there.  This fall, though, I will be entering high school.  *applause*  More will probably happen in my first year of public high school than all my years of private middle school combined, so I decided it would make an interesting blog.  Until it does start, however, I'll be talking about myself, reminiscing about my old classmates, and discussing what I'll be doing and have done this summer.  My first real post will be next week.  Until then, this is G-star, signing off.
